ukdobby
Walked from Kiveton to Turnerwood on the Chesterfield canal yesterday.just before the Thorpe Locks there was what looked like a derelect house with the windows out and grounds full of junk.thought it was just a shell till a bloke with 2 dogs came out, does anyone know if anyone does live here and the history, was just waiting to see a kid with a banjo sat on the wall next to it. taxman
Been past there a few times myself on various walks. Hillbilly Boy Town. Turnerwood is lovely though isn't it? Very nice little ice cream stall there.

That would be Stiffy. He's harmless enough, as long as you walk by fairly quickly:D
