Better than some league club's. It is a great pitch and IF they were to allow us to use it, it would be free with the council. Its council owned as far as Im aware. They look after it but not sure it was council funded. Usual problem at this time of year will be goal posts. Best waiting until we are ready to do it, maybe July sometime and see what available. Certainly would like a decent pitch and if posts are up, we can always ask. Posts are normally taken down during the summer a) to put people off playing on the pitches allowing them to grow and b) because they are not needed. Some even get a lick of paint. Plus with lighter nights, some idiots mess around with them on parks. Send a few mails off Corks and one to David Judge too, his email is on council site somewhere. See what you get back. Just a thought 2 other pitchs - Juberlee Sports club - think its back of Fletchers and The police Pitch near same area cant remember what you call Sports club now .
