nelly-dean Posted September 21, 2011 Share Posted September 21, 2011 I remember the pikelet man, he used to come round on friday evenings. (Milnrow road area) we'd stock up on pikelets and oatcakes. And that "exotic" door to door sales man was a regular at our house, in fact I still have a silk scarf he gave me as a prezzie when I was about 12! We lived on Liverpool Street. Anyone remember Hill Top ice cream van coming round & ringing the bell, their chocolate sandwich ice cream was the best.
