Israel's blockade of Gaza is cracking

Recommended Posts

You don't believe the Palestinians have a right to defend themselves ?

I believe the palestinian people have a number of priorities, food, shelter, jobs and a stable economy all coming way before the "right" for izzadine al quassam terrorists to randomly lob Quassam 2 rockets at israeli towns with the inevitable response from israel.

How does a hamas rocket "defend" palestinian people? It just gets an artillery shell back the other way. When one of them actually does kill some israeli kid is that a "victory" in your eyes?

If any other country was treating their neighbours the way Israel treats the Palestinians there would be an outcry.

you've got it totally the wrong way round. There isn't another country in the world that would assist an enemy that is also a neighbour, Gaza, like Israel is.

the border crossings supplying Gaza from Israel are open 24/7. There's literally a truck passing through every thirty seconds. Israel expedites the shipment of aid into Gaza AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE.

even notwithstanding the blockade since 2006 has totally crippled the economies of Israel's southern towns, which used to economically depend on trade with Gaza. It's not just Gaza's workforce, who used to come into Israel as day laborourers in their thousands, that have suffered. The blockade has cost Israel billions of dollars. Yet defending their people from attacks from Hamas is worth it to them.

rockets are fired on Israel daily. On top of that the territory where they are fired from, Gaza, is governed (illegally, as they took power in a violent coup) by an organisation, Hamas, that is pledged to destroy Israel by violent means. It's all there in its charter, which they have refused to amend.

and yet Israel still spends millions of dollars every day, using resources and personnel that would be far better off being deployed elsewhere, allowing aid in to supply Gaza's people. Can you think of any other country that would do that?

Absolutely not, but as long as Israel prohibits and restricts food and medicine into Gaza, as long as it targets Palestinians (via helicopter gunships and F16s), the chance for peace is extremely minimal.

Meanwhile continue argueing about whos right and whos wrong while Palestinian children are dying of hunger and illness and the Israelis refuse to let help through. I dont hate jews or arabs but theres no denying theres a great injustice happening and no-one is helping the Palestinians.
Get this straight and stop posting garbage.

No Palestinian children are dying from hunger due to the Israelis, nor are the Palestinians short of mecical supplies.

If they are short of what you say it is because typical of Arabs they put profit first, they can get all sorts of luxury goods including twin cab vehicles through the tunnels, they can also get as much munitions through the tunnels as they want.

If children are dying it is because typical od Arabs they use their own as human shields.

Listen plonker if they can get luxury goods including up market cars that are on sale in car showrooms in Gaza City doesn't it tell you that you're totaly brainswashed by the Westernerphobic anti Israelis.

You obviously qualify for for a place on the Dustbin Committee because you'll 'take owt in'.

Which part of if they can get vehicles, luxury goods, munitions and other none essentials then they've got their priorities wrong don't you understand.

There is no shortage of anything other common sense in Gaza.
