lucasade
What a coup Di Matteo would be for United..... but if you had managed a team to promotion to the Premier League and then been relatively successful in the Premier League before being harshly sacked....would you come to a club that has got through 4 managers in 10 months, just got relegated to League 1,got no money.....when possibly you could well be considered for either the West Ham job.....or even Chelsea.....in the next few weeks???? Just a thought......

Just a thought...... I would have thought he would have gone for a Championship club/lower level Prem club but he's the one who contacted us so he's obviously interested. He's second favourite with Victor Chandler now but in reality he's not our manager yet so we shouldn't get too excited yet. You're joking about the Chelsea job aren't you, He's got NO CHANCE of that. He has been linked with a West London club though - BRENTFORD. No wonder he's interested in us.

You might have had a better chance of getting him if you,d stopped up.....was he out of work at the time Adams was appointed?....Should have got him then! He was still at West Brom when we got Adams and if we had stopped up we wouldn't have gotten rid of Adams.
