MMA1
I've seen a lot of topics around here from individuals wanting to train and fight mma and this is what I've discoverd: Train your ground game at the Forge Best place to get good with stand-up is Wicker Camp... Right, my question is:- if you did the above who'd actually put you in for a mma fight, surely the grapplers at the forge would have you in jujitsu competitions and the thaiboxers at the wicker would have you compete muaythai? Anyone shed any light?
lotar
I would think gyms that compete in MMA would be the way to go......
MMA1
Not many in Sheffield though. None that I've heard compete in the cage.
Grappler
Not many in Sheffield though. None that I've heard compete in the cage. I would think that the Forge do, maybe Pep's new place down at Darnall, possibly some of Paul Power's lads from Malin Bridge?

Looking at the websites there are no classes as such, just 1 to 1 or group bookings... they tend to be quite a bit more expensive than classes.
