The UN peacekeepers on the Lebanese side were nowhere. They've cost tens of millions of dollars, but when the challenge comes, they disappear. andikay Posted May 17, 2011 Share Posted May 17, 2011 When Palestine reclaimed the west Bank it was irrigated and green. worked by the Israelis, now the desert has reclaimed it ,maybe its something to do with not wishing to work for their land but would sooner cause violent disruptions to claim more. The Palestinians never governed it, every man and their dog as governed it but never a race called the Palestinians, it was part of Jordan, which is only 90 years old. Up until 1967 the people of the west bank were Jordanian, the Israelis captured it and it was Israel that gave it to the Palestinians to govern. Isreal is the modern homeland of the jewish people. They defend their borders as any nation would with armed force. Pakistan have just fired upon UN forces flying near thats near their border????? One rule for Arabs and another for Jews me thinks. If people take their children to these border clashes then well I think you now what may happen. I was asked by my company to go and work on a three week job in Israel last week and I said no. I have a lot of smpathy for the Jews and the way thay have been treated for 2 thousand years. They should defend thier borders with all they can muster. And without the Jews there would be no Palestinians, there would only be Egyptians, Lebanese, Syrians and Jordanians in that area. The Cornish firing rockets into England because they want independence. 10 years later England giving them independence, The Cornish continue firing rockets into England because they want England as well.
