Kia 1.4 diesel , owner driver only , parked on drive ,, 8000 miles per year ,2005 reg ,max no claims driving for a living since 1957 ,,,No accidents or claims, price from £390.00 to £628.12 can not under stand why such a range of prices .I think they are like the Government taking the motorist for a ride as they are ease pickings Have you tried Saga, I am "old" like you drive a 1.8 diesel focus, and my quote for fully comprehensive this year is £245.00.
