British woman decapitated in Tenerife

Recommended Posts

it seems the guy didn't have his own weapon, but simply helped himself to what was in the hardware section of the supermarket.

then you think, what kind of supermarket sells a knife that's sharp enough, and large enough, to cut an adult's head clean off?

then you read the article again and it says it's a 'Chinese' supermarket. I assume that apart from all the foodstuffs they sell, they must also stock large cleavers for the numerous Chinese restaurants in Los Christianos and Playa de las Americas.

Sharp knives are sold in a lot of outlets, Poundland sell some good ones.

It's not the shops that sell them that commit the crimes, it is some of the people that buy/steal them who use the knives to commit the crime.

you can't sever somebody's head with a Sainsbury's kitchen devil in a public place. You'd need about thirty minutes to do the job. If the news report is true, which of course it may not be, and this guy beheaded the poor woman in a minute or three, it would have to a BIG knife.
