But if they're flashing perhaps they think you should be in the left lane if there's a gap. They wouldn't be flashing otherwise would they? If I'm doing 70 on the m/w and feel that I'm holding someone else up I move out of their way as soon as I can...if the other driver wants to go a bit faster then it's not up to me to hold him back....sometimes I'm the guy who wants to go a bit faster.. but I don't flash anyone..just wait for them to move.. If there's a reasonable gap in the inside lane that means I won't have to move back out within the next few minutes when I reach another slow vehicle, then it should be filled.
