BoroughGal
They are both about the same distance from the centre of Sheffield. So if you live in the south side, go to Nottingham, in the north side, use Leeds. They are both easy to find.

Greybeard
IKEA have switched their new store policy to building them in town centres. http://portal.telegraph.co.uk/money/main.jhtml?xml=/money/2006/01/12/cnikea12.xml&menuId=242&sSheet=/portal/2006/01/12/ixportal.html Coventry and Ashton have been selected so far, - I wonder if Sheffield is on their list. Wherever would they put it ?
nick2
I do hope so, I can't live without cheap Sweedish furniture. I honestly don't see how it would benefit Sheffield, people drive to the shop, buy stuff, then drive home, it's not like they think "lets go into Sheffield and spend some money". Agree to a point but anything that gets more people into sheffield city centre has to be a good thing surely!!!

But if they only go to that one shop whats the point ? I doubt Ikea will let you park in their car park while you have a wander round town.
