WallBuilder
I suppose if anyone is really interested they could always ring the planning department and get some information plus the names of the officers over-seeing the project. I've not bothered to look for the planning agenda so maybe the agenda has been filled with other important issues or maybe Ikea are stil tweaking their plans and so not ready to have them looked at, unless some-one asks questions then who's to say what the hold up is. geared
or they just need longer to prepare the next round of excuses and lies to stop development. I can see 'drawing trade away from the city centre' being banded around quite heavily.
rossyrooney
It said in the Star that Meadowhall and the other objectors had seen the new plans for traffic flow in the area and are now in agreement with them so the newly drawn plans are to be discussed at the next planning meeting. Meadowhall are also prepared to help fund the traffic flow changes too.
Penistone999
A new super school due to be built on the site of the Don Valley Stadium has only raised concerns from SYP over traffic congestion, but not the council. Now how can the council have concerns over traffic congestion with the IKEA store ,but not the school ? This council is not fit for purpose. http://www.thestar.co.uk/news/local/police-traffic-fears-over-don-valley-school-1-6641727
