Tatman
On a car, i hear that you are not allowed to have 2 different tread patterns on the same axle. Is this true or am i being Mr G, Ullible? Thanks
Plain Talker
You can't mix radials and crosssply. that much I do know, (I remember the public information films from my childhood!)

rossyrooney
Morning Mr Ullible. You wont be breaking the law by fitting tyres from different manufacturers on the same axle.

P.s You seen my new sig? My family have been clients of Hawleys tyres for years. Always received good service, been offered the choice of qualities and prices and never yet had a problem. But please shop around, price difference can be massive. The joys of motoring eh. PS.dig the sig.

P.s You seen my new sig? Get a few quotes and then contact AP tyres at Greaseborough. They will undercut your best quote but are usually cheapest anyhow. If you are on a budget they often have a special offer (not cheap far eastern rubbish) on a top brand that they need to shift.
