Overseas aid, can we afford it?

Recommended Posts

OK

We give money to educate poor Pakistanis.

We help to EDUCATE them

We help them to READ and WRITE and LEARN

The alternative is....we don't help them, they don't learn, they go to the only schools that will have them, The local Madrasah

where they will not learn how to read and write but will learn how to repeat passages from the Koran in Arabiq. Then they might learn to hate Western civilisation and democracy...they may go to Afghanistan and become Taliban. They may end up killing British soldiers or civilians......

Do you see?

Which scenario do you prefer?

head...wall ...bang

What sentimental rubbish, Pakistan has been independent for over 60 years and what have they achieved: virtualy zero? Oh foregot they're a nuclear power.

The people are poor yet you ask us to pay for education which indirectly funds their nuclear arms programme.

Corruption is rife, Taliban terrorist training camps left right and centre, sharia law overules civil law.

We've given £650million to a country full of muslim terrorists including 'Bin Liner'.

Are they funded from overseas aid?

They could be funded from the surplus provided if overseas aid was stopped or are you telling me that you agree with giving pakistan £650million when most of the muslim terrorists are trained there including curent main bases for the Taliban.

So what you are saying is that Pakistanis send their children to hate school and they hate us?

the only interest in the middle east and pakistan and india is oil

And without that oil you'd be riding to work on a donkey.

We should be exploring alternatives to oil.

The money saved from cutting foreign aid could fund research

Yeah, but it'd make a lot more sense to fund it through the stupendously huge profits made by selling fossils.

It's not either/or - we can easily afford to do both.
