melthebell
so if hes found guilty is that it then, what happens if they find the new evidence is tainted after the trial ? if evidence is found to be "tainted" then itll be rubbished? if hes convicted on the tainted evidence then itll be quashed? jesus anybody would think its gonna happen and in only this trial ever, has no other trial ever been quashed due to tainted evidence? its strange how down the usual suspects are on this retrial purely to me it seems because theres racist overtones to it. Streamline
Well you're a bloody fool then, if new evidence comes to light that strongly suggests they did it, try them again and send the buggers to prison...did your cognitive brain depart your head this afternoon BP?! So what if this new evidence turns out to be wrong what happens then?
BritPat
i saw, but i dont actually think he means it, i really believe its a selective view. its funny how the right wingers bang on about free speech and now rights for individuals WHEN IT SUITS THEIR VIEWPOINT It's funny how liberalistas and socialists bang on about State and Corporate power until IT SUITS THEIR VIEWPOINT
JFKvsNixon
so if hes found guilty is that it then, what happens if they find the new evidence is tainted after the trial ? What usually happens when evidence is found tainted after a trial? Why would this case be any different?
melthebell
So what if this new evidence turns out to be wrong what happens then? isnt that what a trials for to determine such things? you lot will clutch at ANY straw to pull a negative out of the hat, as ive said before the police must know things we dont about his alledged guilt? and this new evidence (good or bad) has been found and fills them full of confidence? a new trial is the ONLY way to judge his guilt and the validity of any evidence? boyfriday
So what if this new evidence turns out to be wrong what happens then? They're acquitted-if you're letting that possibility worry you, you'd be against all trials in this country.
JFKvsNixon
So what if this new evidence turns out to be wrong what happens then? Isn't the point of a trial to rigourously test the evidence?
melthebell
It's funny how liberalistas and socialists bang on about State and Corporate power until IT SUITS THEIR VIEWPOINT i dont have a viewpoint on the subject, im happy theres a retrial, itl show if hes guilty once and for all........if they dont balls it up again if he comes out guilty string him up if he comes out INNOCENT (which is NOT what happened the first time) then fairy snuff yes i problems with the police, state and big brother BUT im also against people making other peoples lives hell, im against peodos and rapists and bullys and racists and murderers and muggers etc etc roaming the streets, but i do believe there has to be an element of guilt before they go for a retrial

Glamrocker
What usually happens when evidence is found tainted after a trial? Why would this case be any different? My point is that they could go on forever. guilty ..released on appeal ? because believe me if he is found guilty the appeal will be straight in and possibly to the human rights court
