Mr Prime
This can only be a good thing, the video surveillance proved they were absolute scum even if they were totally innocent of this murder which let's face it nobody sane believes for a second. Scrapping double jeopardy was the best legal move in a long time. Another example is that celebrity gangster Dave Courtney who after being found not guilty at a murder trial took great delight in proclaiming he did it. He went on to sell a lot of books to impressionable spotty youths with names like Wayne and Kevin.
bizzle
The Lawerence family must have a lot of patience. 18 years is a long time. Let's hope justice is done & they get some form of closure to what happened to Stephen (RIP) These tramps have got away with the murder for long enough. ronthenekred
Funny thing is, if they are guilty and admitted it originally, they'd be getting close to release now. if not already released
Flowersfade
I was hoping the rational argument might appeal to BritPat Good luck with that BF.
John X
This can only be a good thing, the video surveillance proved they were absolute scum When Norris, Acourt, Dobson and Knight left the Lawrence enquiry after giving 'evidence', two of them spat in the faces of bystanders outside the enquiry room and one of them threw a punch. Not sure if it was ever shown that any or all of them were members of the BNP but they surely would have been made welcome. John X

John X wasn't one of them related to a person who was involved in londons gangland culture...and in those days wasn't it easy to get help from those on the inside of the authorities... files going missing and evidence tampered with.... John X
wasn't one of them related to a person who was involved in londons gangland culture... David Norris was the son of Clifford Norris a well-known convicted drug smuggler in South East London and it is believed that a DS on the investigation team was being paid by Norris's father to 'keep the boys out of the frame'. Although this allegation was never proved, there were many witnesses at the Lawrence inquiry who said they had provided evidence to the Metropolitan Police that had never been considered or even logged. This led to a member of the Lawrence inquiry team claiming "There was a large amount of information that the police were either not processing or were suppressing". John X
This can only be a good thing, the video surveillance proved they were absolute scum Video surveillance? Acourt and Norris were convicted in 2002 of a racist attack on a plain clothes policeman. It is interesting that it is claimed that at the time of the murder, attempts were made to link the four suspects with the far-right. It is supporters of the far-right on this forum who are shouting loudest about the 'unfairness' of trying them again! Just an observation. John X If thats the case then I would expect to see more arrests now or at least reliable information on that score,if what you say is right arresting ,charging and trying suspects for possible perverting the course of justice would obviously make the murder trial easier to get a conviction. Also if I were you and this Norris is big time you should be very careful what you put on public forums
