Thought so I followed the same route as you to King Teds but I was 59 intake so slightly ahead of you . if you lived on Stonecroft did you know Adrian Holden who was in my year ? He lived up there somewhere. Adrian Spring ( of sweet shop fame ) lived on there too ?

Yes I do remember Adrian and his motor bikes; was at TCS with his sister Alison. Also remember Adrian Spring, his father owned?/managed? Sheffield Photographic, and his gran ran the sweet shop on the Rise; remember Adrian appearing with one of the first Polaroid cameras - seemed like magic! Dreb48
The shops on Baslow Rd , opposite the end of Mickley Lane Outwardly it’s not changed much , apart from the fact that these were all ‘ proper shops ‘. Note the width of the road and the patch of scrub land opposite just below the Coop

The big hedge at the bottom left hides the gate at the bottom of nan’s garden path . Their prefab was hidden away in the corner

Chambers was the wet fish shop on Totley Rise Easy to get confused 🙄 Can anyone remember the name of the Chemists on the Rise near Springs. It had a lovely fish tank that used to fascinate me ?
