Rupert_Baehr
I believe in God. That is my choice. What does 'belief in a God' have to do with 'near death experiences?' I've survived a number of horrendous accidents. That has nothing to do with 'belief in God'. If you believe in God, you die. If you don't believe in God, you die. What's that got to do with belief in God?
megalithic
What's that got to do with belief in God? Knowing there is life beyond what we have now. ? I'm sure that's the angle he's/she's coming from.

Depends on the individual and on how that individual responds. - for a start. I was brought up in a family where nobody doubted the existence of God and where I - as a small child - didn't get a choice. Brainwashed. Eventually, I grew out of it. Did my own thing. Some years later, I changed my mind. I believe in God. I don't sell God. I don't give a damn whether you (or anybody else) believes in the things in which I believe. be happy. - And if you're not, don't come ******* on my doorstep! I'm content with that, i'm just part of a cycle.

I'm content with that, i'm just part of a cycle. That'll work! - Nothing wrong with that. Let me tell you a story. There was this bloke. Came from humble beginnings, worked his way up and got a decent job. That job came with strings attached and some of the strings were very long. We will expect you to protect us. If the whole lot turns to worms, we will expect you to give your life to protect us. (Standard sales talk to soldiers for thousands of years.) Then came the 'Cold War'. Two sides to any argument. They're planning to beat the crap out of you and you're planning to do that to them. But they are 'the enemy' and you are a human being? There was a bloke who planned the lot. The man (3 of them, actually) who planned to destroy the world. Scary. But that was the job. Do you think those people believed in God?
Alcoblog
I'm content with that, i'm just part of a cycle. Interesting theory that, one I've never heard before! So you're saying that when people die, all their souls (or whatever) combine to form a giant pedal bike? Which part are you ... the front sprocket? Speccy24
Out of genuine intetest, why did you think that? I believe that we should seek god by looking for him however that may be. He doesn't need to come to us, we should try and take steps forward to seek him. x
