Cyclone Posted May 24, 2011 Share Posted May 24, 2011 the law actually lets you park across a drop kerb anyway. its only obstruction if there is a car in the garage/drive at the time. you have a right to get your vehicle off your land, but no legal right to get it onto it. that's true, although the police are generally happy to help either way (but quicker if you're blocked in, rather than blocked out). To be fair, seeing how busy those places get with people wanting to go walking etc in the Peak District I'm no surprised the folks that live there get a little hacked off with it.
