Longcol
Hi, I'm sick and tired of rubbish, tastles mank from the Supermarkets, anyone know of anywhere for the slightly more serious wine drinkers!!! and I do not mean tune and booze or whatever you call it. Waitrose has a good fine wine section. There's always the people on this thread who might be able to help. http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=762762
Nagel
Try Oddbins on London Road, near the Pig Farm (United ground at Brammall Lane ) Oddbins went bust months ago and I don't ever remember them having a shop on London Road. It's not easy to buy decent distinctive wine now that the supermarkets dominate the trade. It all tends to be over sweet, over-alcoholic New World stuff that tastes like fortified Ribena. Bulgarian
You can get some good wine in some supermarkets, just don't expect the 3 bottles for 10 quid ones to be anything special.
