victormh
My uncle was a conductor and then a driver until he retired - his name was Kenneth (Ken) Brooks - originally from Balmoral Road, Woodhouse and after 1950 he lived at 87 Handsworth Grange Road, Ballifield Estate. His next door neighbour was called Johny ???? a cockney guy who was a tram driver, then went on the buses. My cousins husband is also retired from bus driving - Tony Holmes aged about 68.
