bill castle Posted May 26, 2011 Share Posted May 26, 2011 I attended this school from 1935 to 1941 and remember some of the teachers of this era. Head, Mr Corkhill, Miss's Marsden, Westren. 1942mick Posted May 29, 2011 Share Posted May 29, 2011 Hi I went to Bole Hill Road school from about 1947--1954 and then we moved from that area to Pitsmoor ! I remember Mr Corkhill very well as I was sent to him for misbehaving and instead of giving me a punishment he took me out into the playground and played marbles with me ,I will never understand why but was very greatfull for not being punished ! I have fond memories of this school but have difficulty in remembering the teachers names ! The school I went to after Bole Hill was Burngreave and boy what a differance that was !
