Not exactly the church, but a philosophy which teaches that it is good to obey and bad to question, makes it much easier for abuses like these to occur and be covered up! Any other global corporation demonstrating this level of systematic abuse and cover-up would have been forced out of business and its CEO prosecuted. What does the UK do?
