Personally I just don't understand it as well...I mean..how can you ride a bike with ten meter of cable on it...

All electric (push)bikes I've ever seen were completely silent (more so than normal pushbikes, when used on battery). Save of course as to the tyre road noise (which is the same as a conventional pushbike).

 

Anyway, you're right, they should be driving cars or electric spa...erm, mobility chairs instead

 

EDIT - it's not really a new idea, you know. But the EV variant is certainly eco-friendlier

they are bikes available in the peak district and they make noise! There are no mopeds around there! they are for use in the countryside not on the road (the ones I am talking about anyway!)
