Compere BenQ: "amazing, frenetic, masterful and surreal comedy" Performers: James Mason "Low energy humanised… strip mining material folding (it) into ten other laughs” (Chortle 2009) Rachel Stubbings "delivers a masterclass in deadpan, brilliantly undercutting any penile pomposity - a comic treat" (Three Weeks) Nick Sun "if you don't enjoy Nick Sun, it's because you suck as an audience" (Doug Stanhope) All this with Love Hearts, Monster Munch, great beer, good company and a warm, slightly off-balance vibe. £6 on the door, £3 for students So come along, bring your friends (buy 4, get 1 in free) and have a really good, challenging night of comedy. Oh, and if you think THIS line-up is great, check in NEXT month..... Penelopes is right next door to the Odeon. Facing the Odeon front door, head diagonally off to the right, and there we are!!! I haven't missed one yet, and they've been getting better and better, I was worrying it wouldn't be on, but thanks for the heads up. I think Sheffield needs more 'independent' comedy at the weekends.
