Uncle_G Posted November 7, 2005 Share Posted November 7, 2005 hi, our club Stocksbridge cc train at sheffield united cricket ground on bawtry road (nr meadowhell) best facilities in sheff by far, you could come and join our club if it's not too far out, we havn't got a single spinner, we have 3 teams. or alternitivly you can buy 1 hour lessons with a cricket coach at s.u.c.c, I think it's about 20 quid, I did it when younger and i improved a hell of a lot. wayno Posted November 17, 2005 Share Posted November 17, 2005 I was wondering the same thing, im looking to play during winter. Im an all rounder spinner (off and leggy) and can bat. I do have varaity to my spin, more with the leg spin, can bowl top spin, slider, not sure if i can do a wrong un anymore, never tried a flipper. I tried the doosra for abit and need more practice.
