Leah-Lacie
Paypal do take a fee, think its 5%, ebay get the listing fees and a final value fee of 10%. They cant take any of the postage fees which is why some try to overcharge there. Not sure if it still stands, but if your item doesn't sell you used to be able to relist for free. Rich
As regards posting fees, I'm always honest there, unless I'm selling a bulky item that's going to cost a bit more to send (example that box of WWF videos I sold about 3 years ago) I never charge more than 2 quid for even first class recorded (I always use recorded, I don't trust standard mail to not lose stuff)
Leah-Lacie
And Paypal no longer charge for withdrawals to bank account. Just checked, and from a sale of 1.99 with free postage, i ended up with £1.76 in Paypal, and 35p owing to ebay seller account x

Mandem
If yiou list something on Ebay you pay listing fees, unless its 99p or under then its free. If you don't sell it you don't pay fees.
