What makes Sheffield Forum so popular?

Recommended Posts

I just had a look at the L***s forum to see that there are currently only 50 punters online, 6 members and 44 guests. Sheffield Forum currently has 1352 punters online, 336 members and 1016 guests.

I don't know much about other forums, but is SF the biggest city forum in the UK?

Why is SF so successful?

6 members on line :o that’s a made rush, I have been on their when I have been the only member on line.

As for it being in its infancy, that excuse is starting to wear a bit thin, there doesn’t seem to be the same interest for some reason.

LF's been going a while now, of course nowhere near as long as SF, but I can't see it being the phenomenon that SF is.

Maybe they don't have the characters needed yet. Bare in mind when this place started we had some seriously funny and quality posters. Most nights were a riot of laughter (for me anyway). The forum wasn't moderated anywhere near as much as it is now. It was still a baby on a learning curve. As it happened it was more like a riot of a roller coaster at some points :hihi:
