Getting "ripped" and building muscle are two seperate things by the way. Whey protein will HELP you build muscle but without the proper diet (including veg" you're going to struggle. Getting "ripped" tends to mean cutting up, this is the fat-burning stage. I'm only a casual gym user so not totally 100% clued up on it all, you need to be getting some expert info.
