Very true. Oz Clarke and James May visited the "new" plant a few years ago in their Drink to Britain series:

About 8 minutes in is where they visit the plant.

 

They visited the place where Newcastle Brown was brewed for a short time after it moved from Newcastle but before it moved again to Tadcaster.

I just wonder what an outcry there would be if someone started marketing Perrier that was bottled in Yorkshire using the Yorkshire water. Newcastle Brown in 95% water so of course it is going to be a totally different beer if it is brewed using a totally different water supply.
