When Will The BNP Become More Electable?

Yeah, but I've met Collet and he would be hard pushed to scare a donkey from a hundred miles away.

From wiki - 'Humberside Police did not bring charges against Collett over the allegations of threats to kill and formally dismissed the allegations from Griffin on 29 July 2010'

Yes, which made the whole episode so absurd.. the real reason as I understand it for the falling out was a squabble between Collett and Dowson over who could fleece the membership of their money best. Dowson has a large financial stake in the party and is now pursuing legal action against them and seems likely to bankrupt them. Assuming the Loyalist paramilitaries the BNP fleeced don't get there first..

Just found this it reads differently to the one you posted.

Why care what their constitution says? They are explicit they will say whatever it takes to gain power and when they do...."every last one of them must go".

The BNP's Head of Communications Phil (we're not racist..but) Edwards, waxing lyrical-watch it and weep:

Simon Darby would be a better leader. He's better than Griffin. But who wouldn't be, he comes across as a bit of a loon. The BNP have blown any chance they had of gaining any seats in Westminster. If they'd have used their brains a bit more they could have become more mainstream and perhaps picked up supporters of the EDL and UKIP. Only a major event like a terrorist strike would revive their popularity now. That may happen, who knows.

Lets be honest we complain about the mainstream politicians but imagine if they got a number of seats. They couldn't organise a heavy drinking session in a brewery.

The Simon Darby that thinks EDL is a Jewish plot, is a bit of a loon?

The BNP polled 563,743 voters. And finished 5th

Just another 10,000,000 votes to go and the Fat Nick fan club might have a share in government.

Seriously not going to happen now they're getting thrashed in local elections where they had some sort of presence.

Fat Nick Fan Club = RIP

Yeah, but what will happen if the circus ends? And the BNP really get their act together? To end up 5th in the vote is still phenomenon for an 'alleged marginal' political party.
