andikay
Perhaps because the BNP are more racist? Take a listen to their local organiser, 2 hours 30 minutes in to the Toby Foster programme... http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/p00gwmv6 Everything is down to ethnics..... none of whom can speak English. We have enough racism and stupidity in politics already without people voting in people that see this as a virtue. Perhaps because the BNP are more racist?:hihi: Thats funny A racist is a racist it can't be acceptable for one person or party to be racist and not everyone else. To discriminate based on race is racist and government immigration policy doesn't treat all races the same so is therefore racist.
Streamline
Who are these what people? Are you trying to spell white? I would have thought that was fairly obvious given the period or are you now going to attempt to correct me with some PC nonesense?
not wanted
Does anybody on this thread think that the BNP will still be around by the end of the year? Every indicator shows them going into a massive slump and they are incredibly divided.
Wildcat
How does any of this address the point that whilst the BNP has spokespeople who think it is alright to go on the radio blaming "ethnics" for everything and saying none of them can speak English? http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/p00gwmv6 (2 hours 30 mins in) Or their Rotherham organiser, who citing a National front holocaust denial pamphlet for evidence claimed the holocaust was good for dentisty. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CrmQ8CvPpOg Or indeed any of the long list of stupidities you can find documented on sites like this one: http://lancasteruaf.blogspot.com/ The BNP isn't just a little racist like many people will admit to.... but it is its defining characteristic.... Well come to think of it being stupid is another defining characteristic, but again it isn't a selling point.
Longcol
I would have thought that was fairly obvious given the period or are you now going to attempt to correct me with some PC nonesense? We had a large influx of black / asian people into the NHS in the '60's. What's all this got to do with making the totally unelectable BNP any more electable? They're imploding. Can you really not see a difference between an immigration policy perhaps being racist and someone for example scrawling "**** go home" in excrement on their car? or the industrialised extermination of the Jews by the Nazis. Of course, there are different degrees to racism.

andikay
Labour costs are part of the costs of production, which are passed on to the consumer. If we were in a position to create domestically everything we consume, then your argument might have some credibility, but we dont, we cant insulate ourselves from foreign competition, either in the goods and services we buy or those we try to sell globally. The BNP are also committed to recapturing ownership of British land, property and utilities that have foreign owners or shareholders-sounds great doesn't it? But how are they going to pay for these assets? Will they take them back whilst holding their foreign owners/shareholders at arms length with a gun? What would that do to our international standing? What effect would it have on the value of these assets if the potential market for them was reduced to UK citizens only? Pension funds, and other investments owned by ordinary British people rely on these assets to trade to their maximum potential. These are the major flaws in the BNP's economic argument. I haven't seen that before, could you post a link for it please I would be interest in reading it.
