Bonzo77
Which one is best as pets for kids? Cats or dogs? Dogs! Cats just stick their paws into you, scratch you, crap on peoples gardens and roam about the neighberhood all night.
anywebsite
Cats aren't big enough to hunt & eat children, no matter how small the child, so I'd go for a dog.

SiSiSi
Cats aren't pets, they are wild animals. Cats permit humans to feed them and provide shelter only when it suits them. A bit like the ad on TV recently, as soon as they figure out how to turn a key and use a can opener they'll be off!
Strix
Cats carry more serious diseases than dogs, and are more difficult to keep off the kitchen work surfaces

That all depends on how much love you give the feline in question, mine isnt interested in going out it's got that much to play with. Dog's stink your house out and take a lot of looking after.
