Tony Erikson
Try all the fixes you want. If it's infected by a bad one, you might never 'clean' it. Then you're crap. You can clean them and I do it all the time.
Tony Erikson
what do you recommend? I recommend the Live Disc I linked to. It basically starts your machine from the CD and has its own Linux OS. It scans all your Windows files whilst they're not being used. It's better that way as it gets full access. You don't get access to files in use on Windows, that's why you need to reboot to remove that file. Try the live disc first pal.

Tony Erikson
Ah, a Linux user, explains a lot I learned how to remove viruses as a Windows user. I do find it ironic that you have to use Linux to fix what Windows should prevent. I'm sure it explains plenty. I won't ask.
