medusa
Depends on the source of the stain. Microfibre blocks moistened with a little water can fetch all sorts of things off, but if the stain is caused by something which has penetrated into the paint then probably the best you can do is to seal it in and paint over it. The good thing about microfibre blocks is that they absorb oil so are really effective against grease spots and the like, which otherwise are a real pain in the bum to get rid of. Rampent
Didn't know anyone used flat paint anymore , unless it's for an out-house The OP is having a laugh. Even JJB sports don't sell 'flat paint', this is elitist stuff. Paint is paint, is paint for 'flats' somehow inferior? You can paint a house with any paint you want. Disgrace.
