Why should I be made to suffer.

Recommended Posts

Indeed. Or to say "what you lookin at son?". I don't agree with removing responsibility from the parent.

On the other hand it isn't that difficult to turn any adult block off, especially on your own computer, so you're not really suffering too much are you? :)

Truth be told? No but all this banning stuff to protect the children will one day get very silly.

I don't think anybody knows what the long term impact of widely and freely available hardcore pornography to minors is going to have on society and it will be interesting from a sociological perspective to watch it develop over the next 30 years.

I think in some ways it's a good thing to leave behind some of the more repressive sexual attitudes that still prevail from the Victorian Period, but at the same time we need more studies and understanding of some of the hazards that can arise from a society with an overt sexualisation of women to try to prevent future issues arising.

Must be awesome to be a teenage boy now. When I was a lad the only porn we could get hold was a parents unsecured stash on someone's cast off found in a bush. I couldnt take gcses these days if I had a pc in my room because my palms would be too hairy to hold a pen and I'd be registered blind.

Studies have shown its up to 70% of women looking at porn too, so its not just men. Its time we all grew up about this, stopped being repressed and move into the modern world. I can't see how pornographic images 'damage' children in anyway personally, its natural to be interested in these things and develop a healthy, open, attitude towards sex growing up.

My point is why is sex, the most natural thing, damaging?? its crazy when you think about it and by making it taboo you are infact damaging people even more.

I have had access to porn freely available to me from an extremely young age.

As a youngster I was very tech savvy. I would regularly connect via my Amiga to things my parents didn't even know was possible.

While I wouldn't want my kids to be able to do the same, to say it is damaging is a bit daft really.
