denlin
Im a bit of a novice on ebay. Could anyone help? This weekend its free listing and Im trying to list an item and at the end it comes up saying it will be 61p. Why is this? You must have added something that is not included such as extra heading or your starting price may not be 99p
sumayyah
have you set a reserve price on it? higher postage and packaging cost?
Classic Rock
Same thing has happened to me. I've relisted something with a 99p starting price which was free and still should be free to list, irrespective of the promotion, but I've allegedly been charged £1.85 to list it. Sounds like a glitch in their system. I'm hoping that they're able to override this flaw as it must be affecting quite a few people. Keep an eye on your invoice after the weekend. Usually the free listing promos are for items with a 99p starting bid.
SportsTrophy
You have to read what is available to list free. Sometimes the prices do show as to be paid but when the system clears they are free but you have to be confident you are following the guide rules.
