I have four very poweful air pistols, one is vintage. I legally shoot at a cast iron target trap in my back garden, I don't shoot at any living thing, our dogs have to be in the house when I shoot, just in case. I am considerate to my neighbours, one of my collection is a noisy American gas gun, I have has a silencer made, so as to not upset anyone.

There are a couple of pistols that I would like to add to my collection, I only collect the single shot variety, any silly sod should be able to hit anything with an eight shot automatic.

As for the op's question, Alan's Air Rifles at Bramley will be able to sort you out.

Hope they are below the 6ft lbs limit.

Regards

Angel.

Thanks, nice to see a sensible answer and has actually taught me more about it as a hobby, i genuinely didn't know what people uswd them for apart from causing a nuisance and injuring/killing amimals. Cheers

If I sat you down with a cleaning kit and a mucky gun, I wager that you would enjoy looking at the cleaned end product. My vintage pistol was manufactured for armed forces practice shooting, it's recoil hits your hand in the same manner as a .38 service revolver, sadly the ministry of defense were not impressed.

Wikipedia is very handy, isn't it? My guns are all either UK manufactured or Legally imported from Germany, Spain and the USA, so have been set to the UK legal limit.

But are you a single shot girl, or would you prefer an eight shot repeater? As a single shot man all that I can say in my defense is that we have far longer barrels.

Hi,

I don't require any assistance from Wikipedia, been a shoootist for over 50 years. During that time I have picked up one or two knowledgable things about, air guns, small cal rifle, full bore rifle through to shotguns.

Don't judge a book by its cover so quickly next time, you may get burnt fingers again. Surprised the Avatar did not give the game away.

Best Regards

Angel.

So how would I get my fingers burnt? You were fishing for a bite, and now that you've got one, have thrown your toys out of your pram.

Grow up.
