Horse riding lessons, mixed ability? Price?

Hi all

 

me and the OH are wanting some horse riding lessons. Thing is I can already ride a bit, but he's a total beginner. So... is it possible to get a private lesson for two people who are different standards, or would we just be better joining a beginners class and an intermediates class separately? Trying to keep the cost down as much as possible, but not sure of the best way. Also, i live just around the corner from clough fields, are they any good and do they do this sort of thing? (i'll ring them later anyway probably, but just wondered).
