Cynic
newspapers are just full of sex scandals of the rich why The papers print what the most people want to read. I'm sure there is plenty of actual news in the decent papers though.
HeadingNorth
The papers print what the most people want to read. I'm sure there is plenty of actual news in the decent papers though. If by "decent" you mean such as the Times, you'd be right - and it is for the same reason that the Times and its ilk don't sell nearly so many copies as the Sun. ECCOnoob
Plus the fact that by the time "news" hits the papers everyone will have already heard about it through TV/Phone/Internet/Text etc... Papers are just a gossip mag trying to be intellectual.

Mecky
newspapers are just full of sex scandals of the rich why Because they assume that's what the public want to hear and promote that rubbish. Secondly, newspapers do not sell news anymore, they peddle opinions (usually politically), mainly because when they print the news, the news is already yesterday's news.
