During the Thatcher years 80 billion pounds was taken away from spending on public services that we all use. And at the same time 80 billion pounds was given as tax cuts to the the richest 10 per cent. Examine any Tory policy and you will find it is taking money from the poor to give to the rich. Taking money from the poor my foot. Its more like trimming the fat and saving waste. Those great socialists of New Labour were nicely getting their full allowances just as much. In life you work hard or work smart you earn money. If you dont... you dont. Simple as that. Working Class City?? I dont beleive there is any such thing. Look at the majority industry we have here these days, new media, contact centre, finance, legal and civil service are our biggest employers. Not so working class really. If the Conservatives had been in power with David Cameron as chancellor and then leader and had made the same mistakes as GB and had ignored good advice, I would be calling him a numpty as well, but they wasn’t and he wasn’t so it’s all down the GB, no one else to blame but him and is party.
