The name of Gibson's dog is incidental to the part he played in bombing German dams. To claim it's no longer his story because they renamed the dog is silly. There's ways 'round this dilema. They could rename the dog Blacky. Or include an Affro-Caribbean airman and let him say the word whenever it was needed.
