If it helps...I started this meet because I so much enjoyed the old forum meets at the Rawson. I chose the third Monday of the month so it more or less fell halfway in the month to the Rawson one...if you see what I mean. Now that the Rawson meet has become a Facebook group (which I still attend and enjoy) I suppose the Monday night could be changed. However, the Harlequin is busy on Wednesdays (quiz night) and at the weekend it often gets packed to the portals. We chose Monday because it used to be "cheap night" with ale at £1.50 a pint. It's all relative though...I'm old enough to remember the twopenny Wagon Wheel...back in the days when it was as big as real one.! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
