richmilner
Square Hole is a night of new and not so new comedy every second Monday of the month at The Red Deer. We're into our seventh month and it's been a lot of fun so far so why not join us for some cheap laughs (as in affordable, not trashy). This month there will be another sprinkling of comedians providing you with more opportunities to laugh at things you might have thought of if you'd spent many lonely hours trying to compensate for your shortcomings and insecurities by writing jokes and stuff so people would like you and think you're good and that. The cherry on top of June's sweet, spongey line-up is Dan Bland, who would probably resent being referred to as a cherry, but is a very skilled comedian about whom people have said things like: “Dan Bland is like a slow-burning explosive.” Worksop Guardian & “Razor-sharp jokes beautifully delivered.” Paul Sinha Comprising the layers of sponge, cream and jam are: Katie Mulgrew Red Redmond Nick Cranston Lee Kyle & Owen Rankin You'll have a chance to win prizes, which are normally of low monetary value but this month include tickets to the upcoming Edinburgh preview night on June 26th. Admission: £2 Doors 7.45pm; Show 8.00pm The Red Deer 18 Pitt Street (just off Mapin Street/West Street) S1 4DD Visit the website at squareholecomedy.com
