Bristow
About time. Mate of mine earns upwards of 60k a year selling on Ebay, obviously Im happy for him, but it does makes me sick.
Glamrocker
No there isn't. Everyone should pay TAX, and especially in places where they think they can legitimately get away with it! And I don't sell on Ebay. Horrible place. See answer above
HeadingNorth
£60 a week benefits doesnt go very far It isn't supposed to go very far. It's supposed to encourage people to go out and find work so they can go further.

Everybody fiddles somewhere along the line ..those that say the dont are liars If they are earning a living, be it through ebay or cash labour, their benefits should be stopped - simple as that. If they carry on earning and claiming, jail should be their next stop.

Riche
I wonder if they will look at the second incomes of say firemen. Most moonlight as they sleep on a night shift. Their rates undermine those of tradesman as they allready have a good wage and pension for the fire service. Ebay earning don't drive rates down unlike Moonlighters. Selling your unwanted items on the Bay isn't classed as earnings your just liquidating your assets. Buyin and sellin WELL?
