poppypoppy Posted June 14, 2011 Share Posted June 14, 2011 Hi My son has a 1999 renault laguna MK1 car..he has put a new drum with an abs ring on but the service light and the abs light on the dashboard wont go out. G-tech Posted June 14, 2011 Share Posted June 14, 2011 Once cured, an ABS fault will usually reset itself (switch the warning lamp off) after driving a half mile or so. It will still retain a record of the actual fault ocurring until you have the fault log reset by the correct diagnostic equipment. Is he sure that was the only problem with the ABS?
