feline01
Hi All. . . . I bought some glass tables yesterday. They had a large sticker in the middle explaining about the safety glass etc. I've removed the sticker but it's left that horrible sticky residue on them. I've tried various things to remove it but I don't want to use anything too abrasive as I don't want to scratch the glass. Can anyone offer any advice on what to use:confused: Thank you x
smithy266
you can buy sticky stuff remover, or use methylated spirits or turps, even warm water and washing up liquid. You could use a sharp blade too, you shouldn't scratch the glass if you use the width of the blade not the point.
Obelix
Petrol will work fine, if a little whiffy. Dab the glue patch with a rag soaked in petrol and then wipe it off after it softens.
neeeeeeeeeek
Warm soapy water on a sponge if you don't have anything more evil.
