Given time we won't be................but you will always end up in massive debt with a socialist government!.....surely you knew that when you voted for them!

i heard we are not to strike and let the condems policies fall flat on their face:suspect: on the other hand if we do strike and it goes pear shaped the condems will say i told you so :suspect:.so we are damned if we do and damned if we dont  i say lets go one better and let us cost this condem gov some money and all come out on strike, from what we see how much the government are giving away in foreign aid etc what they would lose in loss of production would be minimal. i for one would be more than happy to contribute to a loss of our own making rather than a condem gov doing it for me :hihi:.if this gov defeats the unions and changes the way people can call on strike action we are all doomed i tell ya all doomed:hihi:

How would seeing them fall flat on their face be a benfit to the UK people or the UK?

I saw this on another forum talking about the forthcoming strikes:

Dave Prentis is calling for 'long and sustained strikes' and commented 'you won't starve us back to work like the miners'. No Dave, they won't starve you , I'm sure you'll continue receiving your 6 figure salary and your travel expenses for visiting picket lines, however those on low incomes you supposedly represent might take a different view....

I bet Scargill never went hungry either.

We're in deep (ahem) **** here in the UK, and striking will not help matters.

Why can't people accept this, and bite the bullet until we turn the economy round?

If you can't go on your foreign holiday, or buy a new car for a few years, so what? It's not the end of the world.

Let's just back off until the economy recovers.

And if you don't like your union leaders, and their salaries and expenses, vote them out. If you can't, you're in the minority.
