The use of Teh in emails to companies and other slang

Recommended Posts

No.

Then again, I don't use text speak for anything.

Were I to receive a (supposedly) 'business' e-mail which contained slang or text speak I would probably treat it in the same manner as I treat those e-mails from those friendly Nigerian ladies who want to make me rich. :hihi:

I get large numbers of Spam e-mails. Some I block; most I ignore - and delete without reading them.

Occasionally I get an e-mail from somebody I don't recognise, but may know - so I read it.

I got one such e-mail yesterday from somebody with an e-mail address very similar to the username of a poster on this forum, so I opened it.

I don't suppose it was from you, Angel ... but nice rack :hihi:

I always used to be baffled as to how people could write teh instead of the so often. Then I realised that when I learned to type faster I was making the same mistake quite regularly. When you are touch typing your fingers sometimes don't work quite as quick as you think they do. :-)
