Ranger1 Posted June 16, 2011 Share Posted June 16, 2011 (edited) Anyone go to Bole Hill School between these dates 1942 - 1950 ?- My teachers were -M1ss Bryant / Miss S Hughes / Mr Roland / Mr Davidson ( other teachers I remember - Miss Wright and Miss Bennet ) Headmaster - Mr A Corkhill I visited the school on an open day ( about 1989 ) Many interesting items were on display - including a book containing a record of punishments! I took photos of the school admission registers for 1942 also for 1944 and 1950. I can remember most of my school friends listed in the 1942 register - We all must be about 74 - ish now !! 1942mick Posted November 11, 2011 Share Posted November 11, 2011 Hi Ranger1, I was at Bole Hill School 1947 -1954/1955, I was about 12 years old when I left with my parents from 282 Heavygate Road, Crookes to Pitsmoor . I am now 69 and living in Rotherham ! My memory is not too good these days but certainly remember Miss Bryant,Mr Corkhill and I think maybe Mr Roland !
